In August and September of 1998 the Tutwiler Quilters had 
a display of
their work at the SAN JOSE MUSEUM OF QUILTS AND TEXTILES in San Jose,
California.
Several of their items are still being sold in the gift shop.

OF THE SPIRITS

  In 1990 the 
Tutwiler Quilters 
appeared on 
60 Minutes 
as part of a segment 
on Tutwiler, Ms.
In June of 1997 
they were asked to participate in the SMITHSONIAN
INSTITUTION'S 1997 FESTIVAL OF 
AMERICAN FOLKLIFE. 
The Tutwiler Quilted
items were sold 
in the gift shop that 
was part of the Festival.
